The Answer To Music Illegal Filesharing
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
Music companies and ISPs are getting forever more hot under the collar about people getting hold of music illegally by sharing it over the Internet and not paying.
This is an infringement of copyright and, to be honest, not an altogether sensible thing to do with your computer unless it is very heavily guarded against viruses and hackers.
While I’m on this note, can someone please explain to the people behind the “Knock Off Nigel” adverts that they simply are not going to work! The idea of these is to make illegal downloaders look ‘uncool’ but the only uncool person is the one who thought that lame idea was ever going to deter the average filesharing nitwit.
Good news is, I’ve found a better way to at least get your music downloads. It’s not free, but it is pretty competitive and doesn’t involve sharing from peer to peer. Mp3 Music is a music download site that allows you to create an account, put some money on it and download on a “pay as you go” basis. It’s got all the latest albums at a price that is most agreeable.
The quality is excellent, although if you download something you really like, they (and I) recommend that you go and buy the CD for the optimum sound quality (and to give the band a bit more money!).
Check it out at Mp3 Music.
